The Level 4 IQA Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualifies you to be a qualified Internal Quality Assurer and take on a role as an Internal Verifier.

By the end of this course, you would have learned how to plan and carry out internal quality assurance for training, learning and workplace environments effectively.  You would have gained knowledge in internal quality assurance.  This course provides you the knowledge and understanding of Internal Quality Assessment Processes and Practices.

Modules

Unit One: Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment

On completion of this unit, you will:

• Understand the context and principles of internal quality assurance

• Understand how to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment

• Understand techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of assessment internally

• Understand how to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment

• Understand how to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment

• Understand the legal and good practice requirements for the internal quality assurance of assessment

Entry Requirements

You would need a good standard of written and verbal communication skills.  You would require a degree/professional/vocational; qualification at Level 3 and above.    Learners need to be working with who are working towards NVQ/RQF/QCF qualification in order to fulfil the criteria.

Minimum age restriction

You must be aged 19 or older to enrol on this course.

Average completion timeframe

On average, learners will take between 2–3 months to complete this course.

Assessment requirements

You will undergo an assessment of knowledge through written work.
