Job Purpose
- In order to make sure that the competence and/or information displayed satisfies the requirements of the National Occupational Standards, the Assessor/major Trainer’s responsibility is to train and assess learners’ performance and associated knowledge in a variety of tasks. You will be given the freedom to oversee the Apprenticeship/NVQ Work-Based Learning programmes as a member of the assessment team, therefore initiative and adaptability are crucial.
- You will be required to carry out and oversee all procedures for quality control and assessment. You will assist, instruct, and mentor students as they grow their knowledge, skills, and talents to finish their degrees.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To carry out and oversee all assessment and quality assurance procedures across specialised sectors as instructed by the awarding organisations.
- To assist, instruct, and mentor students as they develop their attitudes, knowledge, and abilities on both a personal and professional level, with a focus on ensuring qualification success.
- To direct and assist students in acquiring the necessary relevant documentation for their NVQs and apprenticeship frameworks.
- Using audio and video technology, evaluate students and offer feedback that shows a thorough comprehension of the minimal standards for competency.
- To communicate with, exchange best practises with, and attend routine Progress and Standardization meetings with peer assessors, internal quality advisors, the operations director, and the business support manager.
- To oversee the creation, organisation, and execution of our short courses programme.
