Award in Education and Training (AET)
This Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is for anyone wanting to get into teaching role or those starting out newly in teaching role in the further education. This course is Ofqual regulated which allows you to become a qualified trainer upon successful completion of the course.
You will study the ways you can manage, maintain, and provide a safe supportive learning environment. You will also learn how to plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching and learning utilising an inclusive approach; and the types and methods of assessment in education and training.
You will have an experience with the microteaching activity included on this course. This will provide you with an opportunity to prepare and deliver a short teaching session via suitable remote platform.

Unit 3 – Understanding assessment in education and training

- The role and use of constructive feedback in the assessment process
- Requirements for keeping records of assessment
Entry Requirements
You would need a good standard of written and verbal communication skills. You would require a degree/professional/vocational; qualification at Level 3 and above.    Â

You must be aged 19 or older to enrol on this course.

The average time it takes to complete this course is up to 3 months

Assessment requirements
You will undergo an assessment of knowledge and practical assessment practice through observation, reflection, a case study, and written work.
Placement or Practical required
Learners need to carry out microteaching. They should access to an IV (Internal Verifier) that would support, witness and confirm the learner has undertaken work as s presented. Â
Assessment
Units 1 – 3
You will be assessed via direct observations, evidence of work products, professional discussions, expert witness, and reflective accounts. Â
Certificate
On completion of this course, you will receive the TQUK Level 3 (RQF) Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement qualification.
